1、如要在先攤鋪路面后裝伸縮縫,為保證路面良好的平整度，應該先攤鋪路面，然后開槽安裝伸縮縫。攤鋪路面之前，必須首先清理預留間隙并嵌填泡沫板，再用砂袋或級配砂石袋填實槽口。回填標高以控制瀝青不會污染預埋鋼筋為宜，目的在于防止攤鋪設備壓壞預埋鋼筋，便于路面連續攤鋪。

3、在安裝伸縮縫時,下縫前應認真檢查槽內預埋鋼筋，若發現裂縫或折斷，位置不當或間隙過大，必須采取補救措施。要保證沿縫方向每米范圍內至少有1根預埋鋼筋與毛勒伸縮縫的錨環牢固焊接。應該認真檢查XF型橋梁伸縮縫質量，若發現變形或兩鋼梁間距不一致時，應進行修整。必要時，還應根據安裝時的環境溫度調整毛勒伸縮縫的鋼梁間距。應將XF型橋梁伸縮裝置緩緩放入槽內，使縫中心線與實際預留縫中心線相重合，偏差不得超過10mm，同時使鋼邊梁內邊保持垂直。XF型橋梁伸縮縫就位后，應根據縱、橫坡和標高調整其鋼梁頂面比相鄰瀝青混凝土路面低1～2mm，不得超出路面標高。

4、在焊接先點焊部分預埋鋼筋和錨環鋼筋，臨時固定其位置。經檢查符合質量要求后方可將錨環鋼筋與預埋鋼筋焊牢，之后，即可拆除XF型橋梁伸縮縫的裝配夾具。

5、對于立模、澆混凝土立模應注意模板密封，切忌水泥漿漏入支撐箱，影響支承部件和控制系統的正常工作。澆筑混凝土之前，在錨環內應插入一定數量縱向鋼筋；在鋼邊梁水平肢上加鋪一層鋼筋網；在支撐箱底板上設置雙層防震鋼網。應采用低收縮、快硬、早強混凝土，其標號不得低于上部結構混凝土標號。特別注意錨板、錨環及橫梁支撐箱下面的混凝土密實。在混凝土養護期內，禁止一切車輛通行。
