BEDIA CLS 10 stands for special versions of our well-proven CLS 40 series for heavy duty applications.
Currently, the BEDIA CLS 10 series includes sensors with 2 complementary CMOS outputs for example. With these capacitive sensors we offer compatible spares to level switches from other manufacturers that are no longer available – and this in well proven BEDIA quality. It should be emphasized that the water sensors in this series can be operated with a supply voltage of 4.75 V DC – 32 V DC. Thus, the same sensor can be operated at a supply voltage of nominal voltage 5 V DC and a supply voltage of 7 … 32 V DC.

BEDIA intelligent tank sensor ITS 60 is used to monitor the filling levels of Diesel fuels. The sensor is able to automatically recognize what kind of Diesel fuel (Bio-Diesel, Summer-/Winter-Diesel etc.) is present and calibrates itself to it.
The capacitative measurement principle permits measurement of levels without mechanically moving parts. This considerably increases stability and operating safety.
Due to their rugged design, high IP protection classes and a working temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C (-40 °F to +185 °F) the BEDIA intelligent tank sensor is primarily used in the following areas:

BEDIA intelligent tank sensor ITS 65 is used to monitor the filling levels of oils of any kind. The sensor is able to automatically recognize and what kind of oil (hydaulic oil, engine oil etc.) is present and calibrates itself to it.
The capacitative measurement principle permits measurement of levels without mechanically moving parts. This considerably increases stability and operating safety.
The ITS 65 also offers detection of the medium’s temperature via a Pt 10000, which is attached to the tip of the sensor. Due to their rugged design, high IP protection classes and a working temperature range from -50 °C to +150 °C (-58 °F to +302 °F) the BEDIA intelligent tank sensor ITS 65 is primarily used in the following areas:

These high-power bimetal operated temperature switches are available either with normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) contact configuration.
The robust round metal enclosure accommodates a resilient preloading disk, a bimetal disk and a silver contact. The compact switch system is covered by means of a plate which also carries a silver contact and is isolated from the enclosure by means of an isolating washer. The resilient preloading disk ensures excellent performance.
The electronic temperature switch of BEDIA is fitted with thin-film resistor Pt 1000 in a bridge circuit. This sensor element provides close switch point tolerances and a quick response. Switch point and reset hysteresis may be selected within the admissible operating range when ordering so as to allow the monitoring of both very wide and very close temperature ranges. The switching output is protected from short-circuit and overload.
This temperature sensor is for measuring the temperature of liquid and gaseous media in engines, sets of machines and utility vehicles.
A Pt 1000 thin-film precision resistor is used as the measuring element. The temperature-dependent resistance of the Pt 1000 is evaluated by an electronic circuit and outputted as a temperature-dependent voltage at the sensor‘s output. The interrelationship between temperature and voltage corresponds to the characteristic curve for the Pt 1000 and is thus nearly linear.
Temperature is one of the most measured physical parameters. Despite this, precise temperature measurement is one of the most difficult tasks in motor technology. To meet the constantly increasing requirements for improved motor performance, higher efficiency and reduced emissions, it is necessary to use reliable and precise sensors in modern motor control systems. Temperature has a decisive influence on process efficiency, energy consumption and other parameters. Even the service life of machines, equipment and motors is affected by temperature conditions. In many industry sectors, the most important factor is to use the information from reliable temperature measurements for control and regulation functions.
The DC-voltage converters developed for the electronic components in the motor car are characterised by their ease of installation in every vehicle. The high degree of stability, the compact design, sustained short-circuit resistance as well as the high level of operating safety are the quality hallmarks of this series.
The areas of application span the mobile employment of 12-V-consumers in vehicles with a 24-V-onboard network. The devices are particularly suitable for operating car radios, stereo units, radios, cooler units, car telephones, computers, 12-V-trailer lighting etc.
The NR 260 is a capacitive level sensor for monitoring liquids. It is designed for use in fuel cells. The material is also suited to applications in the chemical industry for monitoring aggressive media.
The functions for MIN or MAX monitoring as well as other properties (output signal LSS or HSS, response delay etc.) are factory pre-set.
The capacitive level sensor NR 160 is designed to monitor liquids and powders with high relative dielectric constant εr 35 … 85.

The TLS 100 tube sensor works on the capacitive measuring principle and detects the presence of a liquid in a plastic tube. These plastic tubes may also be mounted as a by-pass on a compensator in order to signal the required medium level in containers.
The sensor is simply snapped onto the tube at the ideal level of the medium and provides versatile usage for a wide range of applications in medical equipment, the food stuffs industry etc. The sensor can additionally be fixed by means of the two mounting lugs to ensure a tight fit on the tube.
